A step back. In 1971 Giovanni Bittante founded a company specialised in the production of technical footwear and boots for high-altitude mountaineering and the outdoors: Kayland®. His technical skills immediately enabled him to create high quality products and, together with his far-sighted vision and ability to anticipate market trends, led him to found the Kayland® Professional Team, a group of technical experts in the mountains. Thanks to their experience and know-how, it was possible to bring a new avant-garde approach to the way footwear is designed and produced, which still characterises the brand's products today. In 2013, Kayland® became part of the M.G.M. S.p.A. group. The company, founded in 1982 and based in the sports/footwear district of Montebelluna (TV), boasts a historical presence in the mountain and outdoor sports footwear sector. A jump into the present. The unification of the two realities and the common innovative vision, have given a strong drive to the Kayland® brand. Today the brand proposes itself as a tool of excellence and reliability for mountain professionals such as athletes and operators, but also for more or less evolved amateurs, with highly technical footwear and refined design.
